Group therapy is when a small, carefully chosen group of individuals meet together under the supervision of a therapist. The purpose of group therapy is personal growth and improved problem solving skills. Individuals in group therapy also find improvement with their social skills and interpersonal relationships. 

At Forward Counseling, we believe in the healing power of learning to connect with others and provide group therapy for all ages.  Group therapy can provide a space to learn and try out new life skills, while connecting with others.  Group therapy is effective at reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety and is covered by most insurance plans but does require that you attend most every week.
